Rewilding is easier said than done. Attempting to rid the meadow of existing invasives has been SUCH a challenge but it’ll be so worth it when this place is filled with native wildflowers and grasses that will attract pollinators and bring new life this place!! Check out our latest Meadow house update episode on you t u be which includes both house wildflower progress! 🤍🌿 ps- Something I never expected or planned was to have clients calling our firm for not only help designing nature-driven homes homes but also with the desire to rewild the ground their homes are built on and to create not just gardens but also meadows, orchards, and forests – integrating those homes with the land they sit upon in order to foster a connection with nature and biodiversity. I’m no expert in this area but have been doing a ton of research for our own project and I’m loving being a part of it with our interior design clients. It amazes me to see how putting our passions out there leads to new places 🌿 if you’re one of those people and you need help designing your home and this speaks to you, give us a call! 🫶

Feel hints of summer here and I’m loving it. These days have been so beautiful!! There a lightness of being you feel without having to wear coats/ shoes etc and I cannot wait for these kids to get out of school and summer to start!! Summer spirit’s a callin!!!!! Guys- I have been saving this project for a big reveal on my blog but life has been so busy I’m realizing I may as well just share pics now! I REALLY admire those who do it well but have had trouble not being my own voice for our little business life. It’s something I think about a lot because we are creating SO. MUCH. (Design projects’ photos house tours new amazing products every season etc) and without help to package it and get it out there, so much of it just sits in unseen files. 2024 will be my year to figure this out. (there, I officially said it which means I’ve got to do something about it right?;) thanks for your patience friends. Our clients wanted to make their outdated family room-kitchen addition feel as timeless and true as the rest of their historical home to get it truly functional for their horse-loving family. A soft palette of bluestone floors, creamy plaster walls, antique beams, and grays & camel tones along with time-tested furnishings and architectural details (I have had a similar inspiration stair railing pinned for so many years and was so excited to finally get to use that baby!!) completely transformed the space. We’re so thankful to our clients for their trust and to the amazing team we got to work with! 🤎🐴

Dave asked me to be his girlfriend about 21 years ago this week and surprised me with a little trip. I thought we were headed off for a work thing but we headed down here instead. 🤎🐴 Little did I know when I walked into that creative writing class back into college I’d be sitting next to my future husband. (There is a reason I sat where I sat 😉)
