Lauren Liess Instagram – Garden dreaming at the @elizabethangardens 🌿 one of my favorite places to visit- especially in the winter when I’m really missing the green. Live oaks, budding daffodils a forest full of blooming star magnolias & camellias greeted us this time. I love being down in the Outer Banks and this trip was no exception 🌊 it’s always good for the soul. My next book – BEACH LIFE- comes out the weekend before Memorial Day to kick off the summer and it’s all about beach life- interiors, people places food, and how our minds bodies are affected by being near the ocean and how we can use that special time to find our truest selves 🤍 it’s filled with personal stories (lol goes way back to when D and I first met, chronicles how we found and fixed up @thelostcottage and finishes off with our most recently finished project- Dune House- and how some healing has been needed after that one.) BEACH LIFE: HOME, HEART & THE SEA is available now on preorder and I really think you’ll love this one 🤍 ok and one PSA because it’s that time of year again and because it’s in these pictures- NO. MORE. “crepe murder!” Lol PLEASE just don’t do it to your crepe myrtles!!! 🤣🤗

$Lauren Liess Instagram – New stairs who dis 🤎 {swipe for before} Our clients wanted to make their outdated family room-kitchen addition feel as timeless and true as the rest of their historical home to get it truly functional for their horse-loving family. A soft palette of bluestone floors, creamy plaster walls, antique beams, and grays & camel tones along with time-tested furnishings and architectural details (I have had a similar inspiration stair railing pinned for so many years and was so excited to finally get to use that baby!!) completely transformed the space.
