The secret is finally out and I couldn’t be happier. This has been the biggest roller coaster ever but we did it. The reason I trained like a maniac, cut my hair and was in Rome all summer. @lenaklenke is a name that has become indispensable in the German acting scene. Since 2019, she can be seen in the German @Netflixde in-house production “How to sell drugs online fast” and has since starred in various coming-of-age dramas such as “Kokon” (2020) or “Das schweigende Klassenzimmer” (2018). Most recently, she was seen in just such a film as the psychologically unstable Zoe, who really messes up the life of the shy loner Frank (Laurids Schürmann). Alexander Adolph’s tragicomic love story “Flunkyball” lets different lives and realities collide in a cleverly balanced realization and leaves the viewer with some questions.
We spoke with Lena about her own identity in acting, mental health and her thoughts on the future – and an exciting announcement about her next role
