Lindsey Broad Instagram – My sweet baby Teddy isn’t a baby anymore, not even close. Here you are at 7, not just an innocent ball of light, but still utterly delightful. All that tenderness and sweetness is a choice now, a choice to tune into the air around you and to try to make others happy.
I’d be lying if I said that 6 wasn’t hard for me, as I watched you pull away from me and towards your brother, towards your interests, towards your future. I’m no longer fitting you into my world, but rather trying to figure out how I fit into yours, wondering what right question I can ask to unlock a giddy story.
I hope there are ways in which you still reflect me, but I’m also down to try to be a reflection of you. Your goodness is a constant reminder of the ways in which I could be better.
