I don’t know where he’s been or what physical issue he may have had that helped load him on the baggage carousel, but he was helped by all and he thanked everybody. Baggage carousels and I have a fraught relationship. At Logan Airport in 1978 I watched my ripped luggage deposit my clothing item by item the belt. All I could do is scoop them up as they rolled by. Once a mother I lived in fear of son6 of 6 jumping on it for a ride. He’d look at it then looked at me trying to figure out if I could snag him before he got his ride. He did this kind of thing a lot in a number of venues. Most of my gray hair has his name on it. Have a good day. Help the hapless. I am often among them. 🤣

Lynn Toler Instagram – #Friends and #family

The people that stick with you when you can’t stand on your own.

Though, less than picturesque, this scene is quite heartwarming.

Everybody did the right thing.

Now, that level of inebriation can be somewhat problematic but they put guard rails around their fun.

They had what I presume is his wife – by the very wifey statements like “What have you done to him” “Don’t bring that in the car” then a seasoned wifely welp he’s already done it attitude when she sees the death grip my dude had on his sandwich.

Then she said “I have got it on camera and i’ll@show you in the morning.”

His boys did right by him too. They weren’t much better off than he was but after throwing him on the car they finally got him in it.

His apology was cute too.

Happy Friday. This week was a bitch on wheels with a BBL. Just rolled right up on me all fast and disproportionate.

Enjoy your weekend. I intend to. Flying in reinforcements in the form of a sister-in-law with few hang ups and no filter. We have a ball!

Lynn Toler Instagram – This is how I usually mess up. I concentrate on what I believe my problem is so hard I never really step back to look at the whole picture. Sometimes the problem is way across the street and I’m still on the other side beefing with a curb about some imagined difficulty it didn’t even cause.

Of course dude here had a whole other issue. Ego.

Ego is #emotion on steroids. It’s how you FEEL about how others FEEL about you.

If you don’t call it what it is you can’t adjust for what it does.

Happy #Wednesday

I am in a whole new phase of #widowhood I did not know existed. My sister in law and I were joking about him the other day. We fell out laughing then we both got quiet. Then we quickly changed the subject.

The joy of Having Had is trying to overtake the horror of Having Lost and I can’t figure out if I’m simply not there yet or I feel guilty about being close to it.

My money is on a little bit of both with side of some other #emotion I’m feeling but not, yet aware of mixed in.

Not for nothing I feel the need to say that in order to drop bars and get views people make definitive overarching conclusive statements that make them sound sharp but really, at the end of the day, they’ve just cut out the nuance and the context, inappropriately categorized the people or things about which they speak and then they’re selling it to you wrapped up in rhyme. It sounds good. It might even feed a feeling you have but don’t let that confuse you into believing it. Just because fact A feels right doesn’t mean it is. People often look for information that supports their opinion. I try to prove all the stuff I think wrong before I adopt it as a belief or support therefore. That allows you out of the echo chambers of beliefs algorithms create for you. Just saying.

Ohhhhh … somebody’s cranky. 😯

Love y’all.
