Maggie Beer Instagram – “Colin brought up from the home cellar a lone bottle of Semillon 1999 found hidden in the corner. Can you believe it was still beautiful, drinking the rich, golden hues of an old wine and peach aromatics, still alive in the glass.

Given that this vintage is our 50th year as grape growers and from our small wine label, it was a lovely memory of earlier times.

We’re half tempted to go back to that simpler label design by our friend, Rod Schubert, a local artist of note. All in all a beautiful trip down memory lane; the painting of grapes by Robert Hannaford on the veranda just seemed to top it all off.”
