Act 1 cutdown of “Your Biggest Fan” [full video a few posts back and on YouTube/vimeo]
So that long gimbal shot… must’ve taken close to 40 takes until we got it. We had a lighting trick in it that added to operator shadow issues, which we ultimately cut. Plus the specificity of the mirror/reflection part which required me to use my body to cover the mirror as Mari crossed in front of the reflection path, then both of us to land our marks to catch me in the reflection. I think Mari and I considered divorce after. Good times creating with your spouse.

This was a little challenge to ourselves to do every aspect of the production (except the music). Starting to really really enjoy lighting and coloring alongside the usual writing, camera, edit and performance stuff.

We were literally overwhelmed with so much gratitude and emotion from this first round of screenings that we needed a little break. Before every screening I wanted to throw up, but after every screening we shared tears with strangers in a theater. It’s been wild to say the least, so we made this little film about where we’ve been, and where we hope to go next. And more importantly to extend our immense appreciation to our premiere audiences in LA, Chicago, and New York. Everything about this film has been unexpected, and you all empower us to keep this thing going. THANK YOU from all of us at @spaceandtimefilm.
