Mary Lambert Instagram – As the next cycle of the Everybody is a Babe workshop nears, I realized It’s been a decade of Body Love 💗 and this is truly where it all began. I wrote this poem when I was 19 and hated myself.
Thank y’all for loving this piece as much as I needed to write it. One of my favorite things is to see cross discipline art being made, and so many of you have created breathtaking pieces to this poem song or gotten tattoos or made art inspired by it. I picked a few of my favorites, but there are so many more that I love. Thank you, artists, thank you, friends.
I hope I am able to continue making work like this, and the workshop helps me to do that (I even do a special performance of Body Love!) The next cycle begins at the end of May and I would love to have you join, link in bio. Thank you for 10 beautiful years of body love! 🎉
