Mary Steenburgen Instagram – A word about the Oscars on Sunday night. As a Best Supporting Actress Winner, I was asked to speak about my friend, Emily Blunt and her fierce and heartbreaking work in Oppenheimer. From the stage I could see Emily, shining in this moment and John, fighting back tears in his pride of her and Ted, a few feet away, beaming at me. I felt the feeling that I often do on our sets. How in the world did I end up here? It still all fills me with wonder and gratitude. So that’s what was going on in the inside.
