It’s impossible to put down. I thought about it when I was away from it. I talked about it to friends at dinner like you talk about someone you have a crush on. It’s sexy, complex, full of beauty, challenging, brilliant, heartbreaking and heart-filling. I felt so seen, but also felt like I was getting to see the actual soul of somebody completely new, a person unlike any protagonist I’ve encountered before. I was surprised at every turn and my heart was aching and I laughed out loud over and over. I reread passages just because they were so beautiful I wanted to experience them again. @mirandajuly I’ve been in awe of you since we met twenty years ago.
