The most generous people in the world aren’t philanthropists writing big checks. Rather, it’s the everyday givers who use whatever resources they have—such as their time, talent, and voice—to serve others. Anyone can be a giver.
I was honored to teach this class on impactful giving with @MasterClass. I hope it inspires you to take the next—or first—step on your giving journey.

Happy Mother’s Day! Love you endlessly 🤍
Having women at all levels of government will make government work better — and there’s a realistic path to getting there.
In my latest op-ed, I reflect on what it’ll take to make our government truly representative of the people it serves.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there — including these amazing ladies 🥰
Every year, 12 million girls are married before the age of 18. Child marriage is a global issue that threatens a girl’s education, health, safety, and autonomy.
This week, I traveled to Malawi with @michelleobama and Amal Clooney (@clooneyfoundationforjustice) to learn more about the work being done there to protect girls’ futures. To everyone who shared their stories and expertise with us—including @girlsopportunityalliance, @ageafrica , @girlsnotbrides_ , Girls First Fund, and @womenlawyersassociationmalawi —thank you. Your efforts to end child marriage could not be more important.

Happy 28th birthday to the one who made me a mom 🥰 I love you, Jenn!
Every year, leaders from around the world gather at the @worldbank and @the_imf Spring Meetings in D.C. to align on efforts to reduce poverty and accelerate economic growth. And every year, I keep a close eye on how those efforts will benefit women—who are so often left behind when big policy decisions get made.
Here are a few outtakes from last week’s meetings, where I spoke about solutions that can help women entrepreneurs access the capital they need to pursue the opportunities they want. Learn more at the link in my bio.

For far too long, women and people of color in the United States have been forced to navigate systems that weren’t built with them in mind. This not only holds them back—it holds our entire country back from the progress we’re capable of.
I founded @pivotal_ventures in 2015 to get more power in the hands of more people, especially women, by removing the barriers that stand in their way. Ultimately, I want to see more women of all backgrounds in positions where they can make decisions, control resources, and shape policies and perspectives in every sector of society. They belong there, and we need them there.

Building women’s political power not only strengthens democracy; it’s good for business, too. Thank you, @leadershipnowproject, for inviting me to talk about the important role women play—as voters, candidates, and elected officials—in making our government more representative of the people it serves.
