Not me crying on the plane today while reading the mother’s chapter of “Real Americans”. I won’t spoil it, but it just reminded me of how, despite it all, we are everything to our parents. Life can get busy (trust me, I say this all the time), but whether it’s a simple phone call, a picture of what you’re doing, or a sit-down meal whenever you’re back in your hometown, do it. All of this means so much more to them ❤️#family
Happy 35th birthday to my partner in life ❤️I asked Ray what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said, “Idk, something chill” lol. Doesn’t get more Ray than that answer.

Come read my book of the month with me! 📖 I’m currently reading “Real Americans” but Rachel Khong & I find myself immersed in the story. Synopsis 📝: In the heart of Y2K-era New York City, Lily Chen, a struggling intern, meets Matthew, heir to a pharmaceutical empire, leading to an unexpected love story despite their vastly different backgrounds. Fast forward ⏩to 2021, where Nick Chen, feeling disconnected from his life on a Washington island with his single mother Lily, embarks on a quest to find his biological father, unraveling more mysteries than he anticipated. Through Rachel Khong’s narrative, “Real Americans” dives into themes of identity, inheritance, and the power to shape our own destinies, questioning whether our origins define us or if we can transcend our genetic past! Find Real Amerians at your favorite bookstore! Leave a book 📚 emoji if this is something you’d add to your reading list! #PRHPartner @aaknopf
