Nadine Velazquez Instagram – It occurred to me recently that the highest way to use my platform is to share and encourage healing. A few years ago when I started my inner journey, I was sharing it here but then I dated a guy who asked me: When does healing end? That’s all you talk about. And it dawned on me that my life advice was coming from a Navy Seal. A man trained to suppress all emotions. A man trained to kill. Facing my past maybe meant he’d indirectly have to face his own so he put me down. Anyway, I broke up with that guy. The Seal was gone, but his feedback remained. I got real self conscious about sharing. So I’ve done it all in private. Now here we are in 2023! And you know what? I’m a badass. I’m a rockstar. I’ve healed so much. With healing comes more freedom. And with more freedom comes more love. We’re all just walking each other home. And that’s just how it goes. We exist for and with each other.
