Bring it on. Lucia Di Lammermoor at the @royaloperahouse … I think I’m sitting in the last seat before you get to the roof. Great sound. Now wishing I’d brought my telescope …

On the hunt for TUNES. A show tune? Film music? Classical thumper? Gentle piano? Harp? Bagpipe? Crumhorn? Kora? Get in touch and hear it on the radio after 12
This is @annalapwoodorgan – who surprised us all by saying she wanted naked bars as her rider on her first UK tour. I thought she meant bars with nakedness involved ….. NOT AT ALL. Listen back to the interview on the @scalaradiouk or on the website, scalaradio.co.uk And maybe get in a request for the request hour from noon every day. [email protected]
Tune into Scala Radio’s Big New Release Friday, tomorrow from 7am – 8pm 💛 With guests like Rachel Portman and Hauser, it’s not one you want to miss! #scala #newmusic @rachelportmancomposer @hausercello
Thankfully Joseph Coelho’s musical career never took off, otherwise, we’d all be deprived of his Luna Loves series of books! Also, note to self, never play someone else’s trombone… @WhichPennySmith @josephcoelhoauthor #josephcoelho #PennySmith
Contrasting theatre experiences …. #spiritedaway at the @londoncoliseum with a giant slew of Japanese performers and extraordinary costumes & puppets … and #whyistuckaflareupmyarseforengland @swkplay – a 5 star reviewed tragicomedy about tribalism, young men and football.

Spoiler alert!! 🚨  Did Jonny Sweet give away a major plot twist in Tuesday’s interview with Penny? She seems to think so.. 👀  | #scalaradio
Well that’s a pleasing sight of a Tuesday evening. Wondering if all the nominees are watching Who Wants to Be A Millionaire and eating carrots out of a bag because they can’t be bothered to make anything…
Siân Brooke enlightened us on how music fine-tunes her character understanding in her chat with @WhichPennySmith this morning 🎶  | #ScalaRadio #ClassicalMusic #bluelights @brooke.sian
Well that was a terrific night at the theatre. Excellent performances. Very funny. And thought provoking. #amirrorplay @traftheatre @amirrorwestend
As an ambassador for Travelsphere, I get to go on trips and this was one of my favourites.
Sadly, I accidentally logged myself out of Instagram and couldn’t get back in until now … which means that I couldn’t mention this as one of those evenings I wouldn’t have missed for the world. Hair standing up on the back of the neck. #dukebluebeardscastle #englishnationalopera @englishnationalopera And it was extraordinary. Mrs Bluebeard – Allison Cook was ill. The brilliant Jennifer Johnston stepped in to sing it at a lectern and the staff director, Crispin Lord wore a vest and long satin skirt and walked the role so brilliantly that I pretty much want to see it like that every time.
