Rachel Lindsay Instagram – In a highly-watched Democratic primary election, Congressman Jamaal Bowman is defending his seat in the 16th Congressional District against an opponent who identifies as a lifelong Democrat. Bowman says that his opponent is actually a Trump supporter for the above reasons. My question is: with his opponent being backed in this way, if he wins, will this offer a roadmap for future elections? Will PACs and individuals with money seek out potential elected officials and plant them in opposing party’s to further their agenda? Is this the new trend?
