Rita Moreno Instagram – Sharing my acceptance speech from June 11th when I was honored with the Lincoln Medal by the Ford’s Theatre. During the speech, I spoke about the vivd memory I have in DC at the March on Washington. I decided to share this today, a day after Juneteenth as we must continue to honor and respect eachother everyday, not just a single day. We’ve come so far and yet have so far to go… Remember, like Lincoln, Kennedy and King, we’re all dreamers.
