Starting our first day in @westinlangkawi super strong. We were immediately in awe of our two bedroom villa as you can tell by our excited voices. From our previous experience, Westin hotels has proved again and again to be the best holiday stays for families with their variety of family activities.

The past two days, I got the chance to spend time with my dearest Mama. Yes we’ve always been close and even after I became an adult, I always kept a close contact with my mom, constantly asking her for advice and also making plans to hang out.
But on this trip, having inviting my mom as my plus one and spending a beautiful amount of time with her, was when I realised how long ago did I truly have a one on one quality time with her. When I crawled into the bed that we shared in the hotel room, it struck me how long ago it was when I slept next to my Mama. I hugged and kissed her good night and tried to sleep. However, it was then I realised “wow, it’s been decades since I slept next to my Mama”. Because wasn’t it just moments ago that I was cuddling with Mama to bed?!
Yikes! I’m 43 years old and it’s been years, but I still feel so close to her. So guys and gals, appreciate your parents, whether they are here or not, but especially if they’re still around. I look at the world, and especially with what’s happening for Gaza, and I feel so much sadness for the mothers who have lost their child or children, or for the children who have lost their parents. The world can only go round when there’s humanity. I understand the frustration and hatred that’s happening within us, and I feel your pain / hate, because you feel pain for our sisters and brothers.
Back to my Mama… thank you for being the beacon of my strength and kindness. I am the person that I am because of you. I love you. And I love all you mothers out there.

Quite a number of times, hubby @nash_idrus and I have celebrated our wedding anniversary at @nobu_kualalumpur but this time we decided to take our kids along to celebrate “Mother’s Day”. In case you didn’t know, Nobu has a set menu for Mother’s Day that goes on until 31st May. We thoroughly enjoyed the set and even added some dishes because… well, we’re just lovers of Japanese food 😄

Sharing with you guys the super fun time we had in @sunwaylagoonmalaysia celebrating my twin daughters @imaanlilytiararose and hubby’s @nash_idrus birthday two weeks ago.
So much to do, so much to explore and just so much to eat! That’s all I can say about what happened that day. The adult guests banyak makan, the teenagers banyak naik rides and slides non stop. Haaaa… sampai kena panggil2 diorang suruh makan lagi takut tak cukup tenaga 😅
Some of us even stayed on for the night park. Even though I couldn’t feel my legs by then but just seeing my girls and their friends having fun, gave me more energy to stay on. It was a whole day affair indeed!
