But the doctor tells me this should do the trick! I opted to stay awake & just do a pain block. I just got back to Cape Town yesterday after a month in the US & head up to Pretoria on Wednesday for the @monsterjam_poker_tour with @pokerbetsa. The doctor assured me it wouldn't affect my poker...I was somewhat disappointed as I hoped it might somehow make me better! 😜 A big THANK YOU to my doctor & the entire team that took care of me today. The entire world & every single dog, past, present, & future owes every ounce of love & gratitude to Chris DeRose, Last Chance for Animals, Animal Liberation Wave, & every person in South Korea who voted to BAN their dog meat trade!!! So many of us post about banning the trade, but Chris has been actively there fighting it for years & years. He has so many things that will shape his legacy, but I think this is definitely at the top of a very long list for this incredible human. Chris was such an incredible mentor to me when I was living in LA & running @AnimalAvengers. He didn’t even know what an impact he was having on me-& I know so many people who feel the same way. He is an inspiration to everyone who meets him & has already left such an imprint on this planet that is completely unparalleled. And I know he’s not finished. Chris is a true super hero & proves that no cape is needed. Thank you to everyone who made this a reality from the bottom of my heart!! 🙏🏼✨🙏🏼 All sentient beings have a right to live a long life full of love & compassion.
