Another one from my back porch while waiting out the storms yesterday… ⛈️“Good Is Good” ⛈️
“Where” from my new record Evolution. 🤍
“You Can’t Change The Weather” felt like an appropriate song today as we wait out storms and tornado watches in TN (not to mention the choir of cicadas!). The bird chirping along was another pleasant surprise. 😊
“I think of him every time I sing it” 💜
“Evolution” is out now! 🎉 Excited to hear what you guys think! Do you have a favorite yet??
Love sharing this record with y’all! 🤗
Sad but mostly infuriating that the elected public servants in Tennessee’s congress did not trust the people of Tennessee to vote on the armed teacher issue. I feel certain they know it would not pass.
I cannot imagine sending my kids to a school where teachers are armed. And I would be very curious to know how many of these congressmen have kids in public schools. And as a former teacher, I find it insulting that you have not consulted teachers in Tennessee as to whether they would choose to be armed in the classroom.
Shame on you, all you government representatives who are beholden to the NRA and other organizations who pay for your elections.
@sherylcrow is lucky enough to be friends with one of her all-time music heroes.
What an amazing night!! Thank you Grammys on the Hill for honoring me and for all the work you do to protect the artists’ rights!!
Today, Grammys on the Hill continued as dozens of my fellow artists and @recordingacademy members met with lawmakers to urge them to protect creators from AI fakes. If you love music, I hope you will stand with the people behind the songs you know and love and ask your representatives in Washington to pass meaningful protections.

“My manager’s like, ‘Man, you have got to write a book,’” Sheryl Crow tells Stereogum. “And I’m like, ‘I should write a book, and then somebody can publish it when I’m dead, so that if anybody that gets mad at me, it’s too late…’ Yeah, I’ve got some stories.” On the occasion of her new album ‘Evolution’ (out today), the Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer told us about recording jingles for McDonald’s and Toyota in the ‘80s, playing an undercover cop in ‘Cop Rock,’ singing backup for Michael Jackson, scrapping her “too slick” first album, almost joining Fleetwood Mac, finding inspiration in Crowded House for “Every Day Is A Winding Road,” and more. It’s our latest We’ve Got A File On You, up now on stereogum.com.

Sheryl Crow, the newly minted Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, shares her essential albums, her tour must-haves and why she prefers “sitting in the quiet and writing from a deep soul place.” 🎶
“It’s liberating,” the singer-songwriter says. “I hate being on the other side of when you age out of being popular, but it’s liberating to sit down and write what is on your mind, and know there is probably a huge population of people who understand that.”
