Sheryl Sandberg Instagram – Five years ago today, @tom_bernthal and I went on our first date. We hiked the Stanford dish and talked about our families, our hopes, and some of the struggles we had faced; he was not just kind and insightful and funny, but he carried my water bottle the entire time. So much has changed since then. We are now married, raising our children together, working side by side. But some of what started on that day has continued until now – our love for walking and talking, his kindness and insight, his ability to make me laugh. He carried my water bottle then, and now I so often feel like he is carrying me. Tom – I could not be more grateful for the life we have built together and I could not love you more.
