Y’all may get tired of my gratitude posts but just call this the #GratitudePage cause I’m never tired of sharing how grateful I am!
Working in this business you can feel like taking time off to have a baby will hinder your career but I chose to believe otherwise. When we got pregnant, there were productions I’d booked on deck and of course my first thought was wondering if I could do it while preggers. (Since the characters weren’t pregnant and I’d be showing)
Then I booked a movie and it was supposed to film when I was around 7 months and that wouldn’t work because the character was not pregnant! Lol
So I said, I’ll manifest that’s when it’s time to shoot it, I’d be available. Then, low and behold the strike happened and it turns out I was pregnant at the perfect time. Talk about divine timing ! #ThankYouLord
By the time the strike ended, I’d already given birth so the productions I was slated to do was pushed back to 2024!! Everything always works out.
Now, I’m living my dream. I’m a nursing, working mom who gets to be there for my baby and work in my passion.
