Took a spin in my kitchen for the first time in some inline skates from @jackson.ultima Figure skating boot and super comfy- thank you Jackson- these are 🔥
It’s so hard with Georgie to get to the ice these days so I will take whatever I can get! I didn’t take them off for two hours! It made me realize how happy I am in skates, it’s home and I love that feeling of flying around. I miss my ice but this is pretty darn fun.
Now I just have to get the hang of it, by the end of my session today I started to feel it but definitely a bit different than ice skates. Michelle says I will figure it out…we shall see lol. 😂
Ps I kinda like skating through the house in them. What if I wore them all the time?! Chores would get done quicker. @toddkap is questioning his life choices right now 😂

I can’t believe it’s been a half a year. My life is forever changed and I’m still pinching myself daily.
I haven’t been this happy in so long. I feel this feeling of being reborn since the moment she was born, not just because of her beautiful presence but because I didn’t realize how the last 5 years took such a toll on me. I thought I was doing ok but with reflection I wasn’t. I wasn’t really living. I was getting by.
I now look forward to the little things everyday. Things that are not easy with a newborn baby but somehow way easier than going through infertility life. I’m getting back a social life, energized to focus on work and new projects, time with friends, so much gratitude that I can plan trips/ travel again and even date nights or walks in the neighborhood feel brighter and happier now.
Losing bits of yourself with the arrival of a baby is very real but oddly I feel like I’ve found me again.

Georgie, you are the best thing I will ever do. The pics that we just snapped sum up what I love most about our days together. It’s the simple and routine moments that are filled with so much magic. A lazy morning of watching you giggle and play while I drink my coffee or a warm cuddly nap after an ocean dip. This is what I’ve been waiting for. I love being your mama….my greatest role yet.

MY 5 TIPS to start a fitness/wellness regiment and STICK with it 💕💪
1: Set Clear Goals – abc, 123 – make them attainable without over complicating things.
2: Find activities you enjoy! 👟👟(Like our online workouts!!)
3: Schedule Your Workouts – mark it in your planner like you would any other appointment 📆
4: Embrace Where You Are Starting – so often we give up because we try and “keep up” or jump in a few steps ahead of where our journey wants to begin. #consistency
5: Join A Communyy 👯♂️👯♀️- the power of relationship & accountability can go a long way.

I love these quiet moments with my little one.

Sound on for a pretty cool moment! This one will stay in my memory bank of top skating moments forever. On home ice in CANADA, at the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, 40-year-old Deanna Stellato-Dudek becomes the oldest woman to win a world title in figure skating history! 🇨🇦
Her story is pretty incredible, she was skating in my time (I was 15!) then retired from the sport and made her return 16 YEARS later in a different discipline (pairs skating) and NOW is a World Champion. From the youngest World Champion, I say CONGRATS! Welcome to the club, you inspired me and made one of the biggest moments in this sports history!
In the press conference her quotes were also gold 🥇
“Can I get a quote beside the record book? It’d be ‘40 is the new 20, I hope it encourages people to not stop before they’ve reached their potential.”
