Wow! I couldn’t have had a more special 1st Father’s Day. Spending the whole day doing everything I love with those I love. When I was Avery’s age I had red Converse All Stars. Before he was born I had a pair made for him and they finally fit! Although he wants to rip them off and suck on his toes, I’m happy he wore them to humor dad for a bit 💙. Thank you @nataliepack for planning such a special day and @midaugustphoto for capturing my very first Father’s Day. I’m so happy our boy will be able to look back at all the fun we have together. Oh, and good boy Fig 🐾. Let’s go get a pup cup.
Maine. What a beautiful state and even more beautiful in the Fall as the leaves change and begin to fall. Seeing the world through my son’s eyes as he experiences his “firsts”, has and continues to be one of the greatest gifts he gives me as a dad. It reminds me to slow down and take in the moments. To really appreciate all the beauty around us. As he points out the birds, hands me rocks to skip in the ocean, and brings me leaves fallen on the ground, he reminds me what a gift life is. I love you bud. Someday I’ll be bringing you the rocks to skip.
