Lamb backstraps with rosemary butter. I hadn’t bought lamb backstraps in years but they were on special so I picked up a few and made this. So easy and so good. Recipe link in my profile.
With the stroke of a pen, Adam Liaw signed himself up for law school at just 16 years old.
He admits to always getting a seven-year itch with his career, which saw him work in corporate, environmental, and entertainment law.
But his big break came winning the second season of MasterChef, the chef’s kiss on a lifelong love of food.

Just a fantastic getaway to @fallscreek with the family. And I have to say the food was a genuine highlight. Great hotdogs at Dicky Knees, top class pub stuff cooked over a wood fire at @fryingpaninn, great lamb ribs at @huskikitchen, and the chef’s menu at @astrafallscreek is one of my favourite meals in recent memory, made even better because of how child-friendly it all was (we all ate together with the kids food coming with the first adult courses, which let them try some of the adult food too – they loved the kangaroo tartare – and then when the kids were finished they toasted marshmallows and played games while the adults finished eating at a very leisurely pace). Amazing staff and hospitality everywhere we went. This is sponsored post, but I was honestly so impressed.
Japan’s “3 Great Ramen” are Sapporo (miso), Hakata (tonkotsu) and Kitakata (shoyu). I’ve had Sapporo and Hakata many times, but Kitakata is the hardest to come by. 喜多方 坂内食堂

This is 100% hands-down the best book I’ve written. The recipes are simple, affordable and practical to the point of obsession. I really tried to write this so that literally anyone could make the recipes in it and get great results. You can pre-order via the link in my bio!

Kadai curries are modernised versions of the North Indian classic dish of Chicken Kahari. The kadai name is a reference to the wok-like pot it’s cooked in. I just use a wok myself. I made this one vegetarian (vegan) with fried eggplant and brussels sprouts. It’s our go-to adult dish when my kids request butter chicken for dinner, and it’s my wife’s all-time favourite Indian dish. It’s a great companion dish to butter chicken as it’s a little spicier, not so creamy (I don’t use any yoghurt or ground nuts in this). Great with a bit of sour tamarind chutney. Recipe link in my profile.
