One of my favorite pieces, sold to a lovely collector and his wife in Athens. The colors, particularly the rust and light blue speak to the frequently used palette found decorating the classic #greek fishing boats called Kaikis. I owned one for a summer on #AntiParos and though the battery would never hold a charge regret selling it back to the previous owner at the end of the season. I just love how a painting can bring it all back. 😉 #functionalart

This is one of the most challenging and fascinating character studies I’ve done in a very long time. Which says a lot considering #waltzingwithbrando is coming out this year too! The weight gain, the accent, mannerisms and speech patterns required for this portrayal of #larryray in #devilinthedorm was what actors dream of. The collaboration awith a great actor’s director @elisabethrohm and the incredibly talented cast @tedrarogers @frankatankk @milesmmerry @themanuelasosa @alexissides @mattkevanderson @elisabethrohm and writer / producer @tolkinstephen has been among favorite professional experiences. And it all comes together on @lifetimetv thank goodness, as the inherent good taste and restraint that Network TV refreshingly affords such easily exploitable true life stories, allows for more focus on character and motivation when examining such sensitive topics as recycled trauma, cult like behavior, sex trafficking, and fraud.
