It was a great pleasure spending the evening at the Cultural Palace in DQ Riyahd with ambassador Nuno Mathias to Celebrate Portugals National day. I have a great affinity for Portugal, as a child, it’s where my grandfather was posted as the Egyptian ambassador, my sister and I got the privilege to enjoy its incredible cuisine, hospitality, rich culture and it’s beautiful architecture. It always reminds me of San Francisco, from the cable cars, the hills, the bay and the improved version of the Golden Gate Bridge.
