He was so kind to me and the same for when he met my family later in OK. Picked my mom up and gave her a huge Tom hug. Loved this time in my life with him and the rest of this legendary cast. This is our immediate family on #almosparadise but the family actually consist of about 200 more. When you work as long and hard as we all did on the confines of an island, hierarchy falls by the wayside. We worked under the law of gratitude and respect for that persons time. It truly felt we were building something. And we were. B) There is a bet between @christiankane1 and Francis that if he can’t slap a bull while eating a carrot, he gets to pull her loose front tooth. Or C) @christiankane1 convinced @therealnoahwyle that being from OK/TX that his fair share of knowledge in animal husbandry would allow him to hand feed a bull he just met a carrot. Saw an old friend on set today. I said HI! And he didn’t respond.. I hadn’t had my coffee yet, so I was a bit irritated and said hi again…. he just stared at me so I punched him. He started waving. This a monumental photo. I’ve worked with these two since 2007. @officialdeandevlin is my boss. He’s directed me in numerous shows more times than I can count. The man on the left is @garylcamp He’s been our camera man since I can remember. He’s shot thousands and thousands of hours of me on film. He’s even dropped the camera a few times to pick me up when I’m bleeding or knocked silly from all the fight scenes we’ve done. True story. This photo may not mean a lot to some but it will to many and it’s a huge milestone. Today…. Is Gary’s directorial debut. After all these years, he’s at the helm directing his first episode ever. I’m fortunate that one of my best friends just happened to be doing that on #almostparadise season 2. Proud of you man. I’m gonna give you everything I got 👊
We had a few veterans on set yesterday and some women and men still in service. I speak for the whole crew, which many served as well, when I say we were honored to be around, and amongst them. I was handed this by a gentleman in private. Made my day. As he high fived me from his chair I felt this energy transfer that let me know again why we do this show. We do it for the ones who can’t fight. We do it for the ones that can’t fight anymore. We do it for the ones that are tired of fighting. We do it for the ones who shouldn’t have to fight. This gentleman made my day. Thank you for this. It was an honor sir. I’ll keep fighting for you, though it’s smoke and mirrors, until either God or my bosses tell me I can’t anymore. #leverageredemption
Not only did I have an opportunity to be here, I gave a LOT!! of money to @stjude I’m not someone who yells from the bleachers, I’m in the game mutherfu#€=# thanks to @paddywarbucks and @stjude it’s ridiculous how much money we raised and still not enough. It fills our life and is such a joy to know, just maybe, we are able to instill different emotions, no matter what it is, to friends, family, and people, that maybe, we will someday meet, across every ocean. B) it gives us a positive sense of pride that people want to see what we are doing. I’ve said it before, you guys make our lives better. We COULD NOT do this without you. A little over a year ago in the Philippines, my boss/director @officialdeandevlin walked up to me during a break in a fight scene and said “Some people online don’t think we are actually back here shooting.” As I was cleaning blood off my nose, and sweat from my eyes, it made me mad and I said “What!?” A few minutes later he caught me off guard by doing this video.
