A little #SundayFlow to end the week. For a very long time now this guy, @djjohnrichards, has been a part of my mornings and now my family’s mornings. He’s shaped my taste in music as much as anyone out there but more importantly he’s created a community that lives up to their credo “You Are Not Alone”. More times than I can count John has played a set of music that was exactly what I needed to hear. I’ve gotten to know John and his wife Amy @craftandclinic over the years online and even got the chance to guest on their podcast @thedrandthedj (check it out it’s wonderful) but this was the first time we’d ever met in person. It was so great to meet someone I’ve been a fan of for so long. He was every bit the great, generous, fun, insightful, honest guy I thought he would be. I’m rambling but John and @kexp have meant a great deal to me over the years. It’s not just a radio station and he’s certainly not just a DJ. It’s a community of people listening all over the world to music that heals and it’s a daily reminder that I am not alone. You are not alone. This was a cool meeting.
