Not the race we wanted to run. The radio never worked in the car so I had no communication with the team. Had to rely on old school methods to know when to pit in (our engineer Jim waving his hands wildly). And then about 20 laps in the brakes started to fade. I kept pumping them to gets some pressure back but by the time I came in for a pit stop the pedal was hitting the floor. Taz took one lap and it was too dangerous. The team bled the brakes but that only lasted 2-3 laps and we had to retire with 7 minutes left in the race. Even with the DNF we placed 11th but that was an incomplete race. The good thing is I grew and improved as a driver. I made some bold passes and got up to 5th place at one point but we couldn’t overcome the technical issues in the end. Next race is in September, 3 months for now so the team has plenty of time to work out the gremlins. Wow! That 6 hour race was a war from beginning to end. From the extreme heat and dealing with a car on the verge of overheating to not being able to see once it got dark, this was a hard fought win. Our team learned a great deal and us drivers @wilizm @tottisracing and I were challenged to the best of our abilities. It was everything you could ask for and definitely a one to tell@stories about for a long time to come. @ferraricollector_davidlee came out to give us good luck and get us P1 class victory! This was our second race in this LMP3 car and I am loving it more and more!

Another exciting race weekend for us here at the famous Watkins Glenn raceway in upstate New York. It is hot, humid and rainy! Hopefully it will be dry for our race but you never know! Jumping back into the @adess_ag LMP3 groove, let’s take a look back at our first race with @racempg at @racesonoma where we took second place.
We have a lot of updates, including a new look we will be unveiling tomorrow as we kick off practice with @nasautah for their annual 6 Hour race. @thatdanielwu @tottisracing and @w1llizm will be jumping behind the wheel in the ESR class. Race starts Saturday from 6pm to midnight!

We changed a few things in preparation for the @nasautah 6 Hours of @utahmotorsportscampus One of the most noticeable, our new livery with the new @inozetek x @wearestudentdrivers racing yellow which is available now. How clean does our P3 car look now?! Special thanks to @jonsibal for the amazing Marlboro inspired design.
