As I prepare to enter Angola Prison tomorrow, my heart is filled with anticipation and a sense of purpose. I am ready to bring a word of hope to those who reside within its walls, especially those on death row.
Tomorrow, I will walk through the gates with a message of the gospel, reminding each person that their lives still matter, that there is always room for growth and change. Letting them know that the Lord Jesus Christ still cares about them and can set them free regardless of their circumstances.
Visiting those on death row is not about judgment or condemnation; it is about extending a hand of empathy and reminding them of their salvation. It is about acknowledging their humanity and reminding them that they are more than their past actions.
