Went to a 6am screening of Oppenheimer this morning because I wanted to see it in IMAX 70mm film. Screenings have been full so when they released extra 6am showtimes I figured it was either that or never seeing it in IMAX 70mm. This early morning screening was pretty packed too! And I saw Barbie yesterday for a Barbenheimer weekend.

Re-watched Lights Out for the first time since its release. And yep, I still know it by heart and I still just see all the things that bother me. I’m so eager to do more horror though. And would love to do another 80 minute film. Films don’t need to be so damn long. Thank you @pnemiroff for doing the screening and everyone who came by to chat!

I love the look of 16mm film and was happy to see 3 new releases last year shot on 16mm. Dream Scenario, How to Blow Up a Pipeline, and The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar. Really enjoyed all three. I’d love to shoot a film on 16mm. Would be fun to do something in the style of an 80s low budget horror or something.

Walk cycles
I didn’t plan to, but my morning run turned into my first ever half marathon! I kept challenging myself to go “just a little bit further” and when I was at 10 miles I asked Siri “how long is a half marathon?”. Could I do 3 more miles? Hell yeah I could 😅
Tried out clay shooting recently and turns out I’m not too bad at it! I might just have found a new hobby.
