David Gilmour Instagram – On An Island was the first single and title track for David Gilmour’s 2006 album. It was written by David and Polly Samson. The track was performed when David returned to Pompeii for a pair of shows in the ancient amphitheatre and featured in the Live At Pompeii concert film released.
