Deitrick Haddon Instagram – Full circle moment!!
This was the same stage I got kicked off of 25 years ago with my group V.O.U (Voices Of Unity)
I remember like it was yesterday.
We started singing the new single “Chainbreaker” and the young people went craaazy!
Imagine 10k young people jumping for Jesus like it was a rock concert. They had never seen anything like that in a church so they rebuked me in the middle of the song, cut off the sound and told me to leave the stage. They made all the youth sit down.
They shut us down for doing the exact same thing I’m doing now, Giving God crazy praise in the sanctuary.
I’m not bitter when I go back to this stage. I get excited because this was the place and moment that fueled the fire that birthed so many songs and touched millions of lives!
This is the season where you will be received in places where you were once rejected!🙌🏾
