My Mum died eight years ago today. This rather grainy photo was taken while she was still at school, long before the cancer that eventually took her away first appeared. A time when she had no pain, or fear. A time when she had no need to be ‘strong’ so my brother John and I wouldn’t worry, no need to pretend that she ‘felt fine’. Just a young girl with her life ahead of her, all those hopes and dreams. I love this photograph, and yet it makes me sadder than every other photo of her I have. She had no idea what was coming, or how brave she would need to be. I miss you Mum xxx

So, another tour is over and, as usual, I’m a mix of sad and relieved. I love touring but I miss my children very much. I love the noise and excitement, the constant traveling, the ever changing landscape, and yet I miss the quiet roots of simply being at home. Thank you to everyone that came out to see us on this tour, I appreciate it very much. Thank you to the band and crew for all the hard work you put in to the shows, for your sacrifice in being away from your own loved ones and homes for so long, for always making it fun. Thank you to John our fantastic driver for driving us comfortably and safely for 13,000 miles (again). Thank you to the Ministry band and crew and the Front Line Assembly team, I will miss you all and very much hope we can all do it again one day. Thanks to I Speak Machine for joining us at the end and to the venues and staff for helping us along the way. Thank you all so much, I’ve loved every minute.

I’ve made a very limited 7” colored vinyl single to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the ‘Replicas’ and ‘The Pleasure Principle’ albums. We’ll be making 100 copies available on each night of the UK tour at the merch stall. One side is ‘Down In The Park’, the other is ‘Metal’, both recorded at The Roundhouse in London on the (R)evolution tour.

Persia @persianuman co-wrote and sang on a fantastic song called ‘Just like A Movie’ on the new Billy Morrison album ‘The Morrison Project’. The album is out today and available on all digital platforms. It has a host of great guest stars on it so she’s in legendary company. Very proud of her. @billymorrisonofficial

@adefentonofficial and @timslade_ have written the music for a new film called In The Company Of Kings. The soundtrack is out on April 30th.
