This morning, I woke up to the news that four hostages have been rescued: Shlomi Ziv, Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Noa Argamani. Since October 7, Noa has been my profile photo. I promised not to change it until she came back home. Noa was kidnapped from the Nova music peace festival, where over 350 innocent lives were brutally massacred. Her last, desperate words on video as she was dragged away by pure evil were: “Please don’t kill me.” I’ve written about Noa many times and have had the privilege of spending time with her parents, Liora and Yaakov. Today, I believe, is her father’s birthday. What an unimaginable and precious birthday gift—to finally have his daughter back after eight long months of captivity. This picture says it all. ❤️ Noa was immediately taken to Ichilov Hospital to see her dying mother. This is the same hospital where my own mother passed away just four weeks ago. I was planning to surprise my mother that week, but I missed seeing her one last time by only five days. While my heart still hurts from the loss of my mother, the thought that Noa will not miss the opportunity to be with her mother brings me some comfort. I was worried this day would never come but never gave up hope. I will also never give up hope for peace. Not just in my lifetime but in the very near future. Salam , Peace, Shalom 🙏🏽 Noa, welcome home ❤️

My beloved beautiful mother passed away today. On Mother’s Day .. I’m sorry we didn’t spend more time together. I didn’t get a chance to ask you the many questions I will now never have the answers to. I am grateful for the good times we had together. I am grateful that all my children know their amazing grandmother.. I am grateful for all the laughs we had. I am grateful you were there with me on my wedding day. Living far away from you for most of my life was hard for me. I needed you. All kids need their mother. I know it was even tougher for you. I can’t imagine the pain you suffered. No matter where I was in the world I promise you that you were always with me in my heart and you will always be with me. Rest peacefully my e-ma. I hope your favorites Edith Piaf and Luciano Pavarotti find you in the heavens and sing to you all of your favorite songs. The last song I played for you was “Woman” by John Lennon. I wanted the last words for you to hear from a song to be the last words of that song: “I love you, I love you, I love you , I love you…….” I love you mom ❤️💛💚 now and forever 🙏🏽🕊️

Meet Eden Golan @golaneden a 20-year-old singer competing in just a few hours at the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden. The last few days, Eden has faced numerous challenges: 1. A crowd of a thousand people protested her participation in Eurovision outside her hotel. It is unsafe for her to leave the hotel. 2. Due to threats against her life, 100 police officers were needed to escort her to the show. 3. Last year’s Eurovision runner-up from Finland, Käärijä, did a cute dance with Eden which was filmed and posted online. He later issued a public apology, and asked for it to be taken down. 4. Joost Klein, the Dutch contestant, displayed blatant disrespect by covering his face when Eden was asked a question by a journalist. 5. Marina Satti contestant from Greece feigned sleep during Eden’s interview, in an apparent act of disregard. 6. A Polish journalist provocatively blamed Eden for the heightened security risk at the event, questioning her presence: “By being here, you are a security risk and danger to everyone! Don’t you care?” 7. She was booed during her performance from some people in the audience. What has Eden done to deserve all this hate??? The answer: she is a jew from Israel. “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite” – Nelson Mandela I would have written this post if Eden were Muslim and being discriminated this way at a music show. Music has been a positive force in my life. Music has no borders and is a way for people to come together. Music unites 🙏🏽 Amid the harrasment , threats and antisemitism.. Eden’s resilience shines. Her performance was applauded and she made it to the finals. I wish her all the best tonight. “Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.” -Martin Luther King Jr. Salam, Shalom, Peace and LOVE to all ❤️💛💚

100 days since the tragic massacre on October 7. 100 days that hostages have been held captive. One of them being Noa Argamani. She was kidnapped while attending Nova’s music festival for PEACE, where 364 innocent people were murdered. Her last words captured on video as she was taken away on a motorcycle from her also kidnapped boyfriend Avi Natan was: “PLEASE DONT KILL ME” My wife and I spent time with Noa’s parents, Yaakov and Liora. Liora has cancer and is desperate to see her daughter before it’s too late. 105 of the hostages have made it back home 🙏🏽 But too many will never have that opportunity. They were brutally murdered. Around 130 are currently alive and still held captive. #bringthemback #nohostageleftbehind
This is @shalos__ he DJ’d at the Nova Music Festival on Oct 7 where Hamas massacred 360 innocent people and 40 others were kidnapped including Noa Argamani who has been my profile picture since that day Here’s the very moving video of DJ Shalos’ first moments back to DJ since the tragedy 🙏🏽 #nohostageleftbehind ✌🏽
Today is 200 days since Noa Argamani and her boyfriend, Avi Natan, were abducted at the Nova Music Festival, an event tragically marred by a massacre that claimed 364 innocent lives. While 105 hostages have been reunited with their families, over 130 hostages, including Noa, remain in captivity. Noa’s image has been my profile photo since that horrific day. I visited her parents, Liora and Yaakov. Liora, who is battling advanced cancer, yearns for nothing more than to embrace her daughter once again. Since October 7th, the landscape for the Jewish community has altered irrevocably. Jews worldwide feel a deep and penetrating sadness, experiencing a disheartening shift in the global response to our mere existence. Im not talking about differing political opinions; this is about the fundamental right to simply exist. Antisemitism, once robustly opposed by many of our allies, now seems to be normalized, often meeting the indifference of a world that looks the other way. This neglect is acutely felt by all Jews, numbering just 15 million globally. Despite this, the Jewish people remain steadfast and resilient. While some have turned their backs, numerous allies stand firmly and proudly against antisemitism. We see you, and we appreciate you more than words can express. Thank you. I will continue to pray and work for PEACE Salam Peace Shalom☪️✝️✡️ ONE LOVE 🙏🏽 #nohostageleftbehind
🕊️ Every year on this day, I share John Lennon’s plea for PEACE: “PEACE on earth at Christmas.” Today, it’s more than just a wish—it’s a necessary goal. PEACE, even in the most improbable scenarios, is achievable through visionary leadership. Consider these rifts that found resolution: In 1979, Israel and Egypt defied expectations by signing the Camp David Accords, ultimately solidifying a historic PEACE treaty. In 1994, Israel and Jordan made history by signing a PEACE treaty. In 2020, an unprecedented signing of normalization agreements for Israel with the UAE and Bahrain. These Abraham Accords, are a testament to the power of dialogue and diplomacy in forging uncharted paths to PEACE. Followed by Morocco and Sudan joining this PEACE movement, also committing to normalize relations with Israel. These advancements stand as testimony to the whats possible when leaderships share a commitment to a brighter future for their citizens—a future where life is celebrated and where individuals coexist without fear. They showcase that what seems impossible today can become the reality of tomorrow. And these stories of hope and transformation extend far beyond the Middle East—examples are many worldwide. I have to remind myself of these successes each and every day as I read one heartbreaking story after another.. with all the propaganda and misinformation that is pushed our way by those wanting to divide us. With Jew hate being normalized, I have personally lost my faith many times over that even the most minimal light could somehow break through this kind of darkness. But I/WE must not lose hope. As I look to the new year, the heroes of 2024 will be the PEACE makers. The ones with unwavering dedication that PEACE is not just a distant dream but absolutely achievable. It’s painful to witness people on the streets marching with hate in their heart. hate on their minds. hate on their signs. The only thing to wish “from the river to sea” is “PEACE to all of Abraham’s children ✡️✝️☪️ from the river to the sea”. Merry Christmas 🙏🏽 Salam ✌🏽 PEACE ✌🏽 Shalom ✌🏽❤️💛💚 #merrychristmas #johnlennon #johnandyoko #nohostageleftbehind
