On Mother’s Day ..
I’m sorry we didn’t spend more time together.
I didn’t get a chance to ask you the many questions I will now never have the answers to.
I am grateful for the good times we had together.
I am grateful that all my children know their amazing grandmother..
I am grateful for all the laughs we had.
I am grateful you were there with me on my wedding day.
Living far away from you for most of my life was hard for me. I needed you. All kids need their mother.
I know it was even tougher for you.
I can’t imagine the pain you suffered.
No matter where I was in the world I promise you that you were always with me in my heart and you will always be with me.
Rest peacefully my e-ma. I hope your favorites Edith Piaf and Luciano Pavarotti find you in the heavens and sing to you all of your favorite songs.
