It was an honor to represent the #RecordingAcademy at the Inauguration of Los Angeles’ new Mayor, @KarenBassLA. ✨ We were proud to work with her team, all the musicians and singers, the amazing @chloebailey, @adamblackstone, @rickeyminor, and the incomparable Stevie Wonder to bring people together through the power of music. 🎶 Regardless of race, gender, orientation, or political party, music is here to serve, to unite. Today, we danced in the aisles together! I wish Mayor Bass the very best as she begins her tenure leading this proud city. I truly hope that she is able to find common ground—and harmony—with all Angelinos in order to make progress on our shared challenges. The music community is rooting for you, Madam Mayor. 👏
Celebrating #BlackMusicMonth with FYI.AI and the #RecordingAcademy’s #BlackMusicCollective! ✨ Last night, GRAMMY-winning artist will.i.am and Harvey Mason jr., CEO of the Recording Academy, dove into the evolution of new technology in the music industry with a Q&A and demonstration.

I am extremely happy and so proud to introduce Mr. and Mrs. Trey and Vanessa Mason. What an absolutely stunning wedding celebrating a stunning couple! As a dad, my first priority and main goal was to make sure my kids were happy and fulfilled. Last night, I witnessed the ultimate manifestation of that as @trey_mason3 and @sassynessy said their beautiful vows and then danced to the Moon Over Mexico. What an auspicious start to what I know will be an incredible life journey filled with love and adventure for you two. I am so happy for you both and I love you!
Excited to be with the music community as we come together to celebrate all kinds of people and all genres of music. Sending love and appreciation to all the incredible performers, presenters, creators, producers of the show, partners, elected leaders, academy staff and every single person that sacrificed and worked so hard to make this week happen! It’s a massive undertaking and I thank you all! It is my sincere hope that Sunday night’s show and the power of music will bring people together with love and positivity. I’m proud that we have redoubled our efforts, focus and energy towards serving and uplifting music and all the people who make it. #miracleofmusic #musicsbiggestnight
What an incredibly powerful few days at our nations Capitol fighting for the rights of music and music people. A massive thanks to all the creators and industry people who traveled from all around the country to show up and represent on behalf of the entire music community for our 19th “Grammys On The Hill”. This work is important because music is important! The arts are important! Our country, our society, our world moves, literally and figuratively, to music. Let’s continue to come together and unite our country through music.

The holiday season is incredibly special but today is always one of my favorite days. December 29th. A bit of context as to why. The year was 1994. We celebrated Christmas but I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of my first born. I had no idea if it was a boy or a girl and we didn’t have a name. After a couple trips back and forth from home to the hospital and ultimately a long labor, I had a son! He was amazing from the moment he was born. Every day since, he has continued to be amazing and I continue to be more proud, more impressed, more thankful and more in love with him as time goes on. Today, Dec. 29th, I think back to his day of birth and think how luck I have been to have Trey as a son. A son with such a good heart and kind soul. Someone who is so smart, hard working, loyal, and just an all around great person. I love you, Trey. Your friends and family love you. You are amazing. Happy birthday buddy!
Apologies in advance for jumping on the bandwagon but ever since I started watching @drivetosurvive, for the past few years, I’ve been an obsessed fan of the sport. This weekend, I attended my first F1 race and it was mind blowing! A lifetime memory watching a race from such a unique vantage point. Huge thank you to my gracious hosts for showing me so much hospitality and to @mkovac for the pic. And it’s always easy to root for the classy, the talented, and the legend, @lewishamilton – @mercedes.f1motorsports
