Jim Lee Instagram – It’s been 55 years since our family immigrated to the United States. I’m not sure what my parents had in mind other than the pursuit of the American Dream when we landed in Warren, Ohio, back in 1969, but I thank them for taking such a huge leap of faith and creating a new home filled with love and support here in this great country for my sister and me.
Hopefully this recognition brings a smile to their faces when I send them snaps of the translated post.
Thank you also to the @carnegiecorp; it’s truly an honor to be included in this august group of amazing immigrants! Fun fact—I went to college with Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Ressa. A real life superhero if there ever was one!
