A couple months ago Ramon and I got together to do a shoot before he left for New York. I initially thought I’d end up with a few thotty pictures for Instagram and that would be that. I showed up sweaty and disheveled in the clothes I was wearing after a long day of running around LA, brought exactly one extra pair of shorts, did my hair quickly in the bathroom, then about 90 minutes later we were done. Ramon mentioned as I was leaving he might try to sell the pictures to gay zine or something like that but never did I imagine it would end up on a cover.
The profile covers a lot, but centers mostly around my insecurity in this moment in my life. I don’t feel like I deserve this or pretty much any of accolades that have come my way over the past couple of years and this cover is included in that. That’s not to say I’m not grateful, I just want you to know I think this is all crazy too. But thank you to OUT for thinking otherwise.
(FYI: not an eligible bachelor, the layout is a fail unfortunately. Still very much taken).
