Joey Richter Instagram – In 15 years of @therealteamstarkid, it’s pretty nuts that we JUST made our UK Concert Debut last week at the @thelondonpalladium #. But what’s even 🥜NUTSER🥜 (real word) is that the enthusiasm/love/energy in both 🎟️SOLD OUT🎟️ shows was as palpably thrilling and mind-blowing as it one would expect in the early years of this college-born theatre company. Still peaking babyyyy!!! 🏔️🧗♀️
With recent “world events” 😷, we’ve had few opportunities to see y’all after you’ve travelled far and wide to our shows!! ✈️ So once again having that chance to meet (& greet🫂) & commune for such a magical day of music and fun (w/ a ton of 1st timers!) made it all the more special 🥰 Performing for and with (I hear you sing-a-longers 🎤) y’all is still one of my life’s greatest joys. Not a single time we do this that I take for granted 💗 You fill my heart to the absolute brim and beyond 📈
Let’s 🙌GIVE IT THE FUCK UP🙌 for @lambertjacksonproductions & @phoebenoble__, our UK Champions 🇬🇧🏆 who were SO accommodating & welcoming, but also deftly handled a website/ticketing nightmare! So grateful to have Phoebe & the LJ crew on our team! Afternoon Tea on me next go around? 🫖
Lastly, but certainly NOT leastly, 👏HUGE PROPS👏 MUST be given to producing team of @brian.holden & @slowpez8 (who also ROCKED as our director/choreographer) and Music Maestro @claark. Assembling a group to travel abroad and QUICKLY mount a concert of this scope and size is no easy feat 🥵 But to pull that off AND have the experience be smooth, efficient, & painless so we could all have 💃🏻FUN🕺🏻 while doing it?? Now thaaaat’s the shit 🤩 I’ve peripherally watched this team work on this show for months and couldn’t be more proud of what they achieved (& most importantly – focusing on the process of HOW they achieved it!) 🤝
TL;DR – Fuckin’ incredible (& excellently planned!) time performing for all of you magnificent folks w/ a group of Michigan buds💙💛 who I love dearly!
Also, I’m soooooooo fuckin’ bad at taking pics during these things so thank GOD @danny_with_a_camera was there to snap these divine shots and make us look like rockstars!! 📸😍 HEY!!!
