This is from a movie that I wrote and directed that’s currently being featured on @shudder. It was the VERY FIRST scene we shot for the entire movie! I will never forget it. And the fire behind @nlyonne wasn’t planned until I saw the owner of the restaurant cooking during a scout and he had some flames going while cooking. I spoke with the late, great Director of Photography, Tom Richmond, and he agreed it would look great. We had a P.A. hide under the counter that I would radio to and he’d squeeze chef Henry’s ankle so that Henry knew when to make the flames go up. I’ll remember this day forever! Terror Vault is having our annual Scare Actor’s Workshop on August 10th and we would love it if any of you scary ghouls would like to attend. It’s FREE and open to the public for anyone interested in learning the art of crafting a truly terrifying haunt performance. The workshop will double as a casting call for our 2024 show, “FATAL ABDUCTION”. You do not have to be interested in doing the show in order to attend the workshop.
