In diesen Bildern sehen wir Freude, Fröhlichkeit, belebte Märkte, lächelnde Gesichter, den Tanz und die Freude von “Haji Firuz” mit seinem roten Outfit auf den Straßen und die Frühjahrsreinigung der Häuser, die Teil der iranischen Bräuche ist. Dinge, die mit der Gründung des Systems der Islamischen Republik von Traurigkeit überschattet wurden und nie mehr wie früher wurden.

Images of the people of Iran on the eve of Nowruz before the 1979 revolution and the establishment of the Islamic Republic.
In these images, we see joy, cheerfulness, bustling markets, smiling faces, the dance and joy of “Haji Firuz” with his red outfit in the streets, and the pre-Spring cleaning of homes, which is part of Iranian customs. Things that were overshadowed with sadness with the establishment of the Islamic Republic system and never became the same as before.
