Malcolm Wope Instagram – MKHUZI the Spirit Racer: Concept Art (OGUN)
The early stages of this project was really fun. Myself and @pandaexclamated really tried to synthesize our styles to come up with the characters.
In designing the Aliens we wanted to lean into African masks and mythology.
Ogun was the character I did the most crafting on, based on the nigerian god of Iron in yoruba culture. Very fighting for our prideful racing overlord.
