Mehcad Brooks Instagram – Today is marks the 15 year anniversary of my spiritual awakening and the journey of mindfulness, consciousness, universal connectivity and healing that followed. I am still very much on that path.
May 20th, 2009 was the first day I met God, and the first time I realized how disparate my patterns were from the agreements my soul made before taking this body. I would be reminded of this unfulfilled spiritual promise every May 20th, for the next 3 years. God would say hello in multiple ways on this day for years to come.
Part of that journey is the acceptance that our suboptimal patterns come from a multitude of different sources, some from our childhood, some from #pastlives and others from #generationaltrauma
For the last 5 years I have been on a journey to connect with my ancestors directly, attempt to help them heal their wounds and thus the suboptimal patterns in my lineage which their dna recorded and passed along to me where it will be healed.
This is a song about that journey. @wizardbeatsuk @andrewbrewery and I created it just this week. I can’t wait to mix and master this and watch it live and breathe on its own in a world that needs to hear it. This year. 🤲🏾
