Just found out about the passing of my friend and colleague #GabeKouth. I’m truly devastated. Gabe was such a sweet soul. Always quick with a smile. He brought genuine joy and enthusiasm to every occasion. Rest easy brother. RIP @gabrielforest72

My first big gig in Hollywood was in a movie called Black Snake Moan. John Singleton was the EP. It was such an absolute honor to meet and work with him. He was exactly the Legend in person I had always imagined him to be. Warm, kind and brilliant. Thank You John for helping me get started in this business. RIP Brother. Condolences to his family and his loved ones.

I never had the privilege of meeting Johnny, but he was close to some very good friends of mine. If you haven’t heard, Johnny was shot to death in DTLA after innocently stumbling upon a crew of thieves attempting to steal the catalytic converter off of his car. He was murdered while protecting his friend and co-worker by standing in front of her while backing away. Any help is appreciated. Cheers. @justiceforjohnnywactor M
