In the spirit of the start of summer, here’s a great way to elevate the easiest and most delicious of desserts. 🍰 🫐 You can either make or buy a pound cake (I won’t tell anyone) and warm through on the grill at a medium/high heat for a few minutes of each side, serve with whipped cream, the fruit of your choice and enjoy!

This week on the season finale of #24in24 we talk about how to take dishes to the next level.. that’s exactly what I did here with this simple spring dish. Tune in tomorrow to see how our chefs do in the final shifts of the competition. SUNDAY 8|7c > @foodnetwork @streamonmax Ramps and Ricotta Serves 2 1 small bunch of ramps ½ c of peeled fava beans 1/2c day old brioche, cubed 2 tbl butter 2 tbl EVOO ½ c ricotta 1 lemon 1 tbl each chopped mint, dill, parsley Salt and Urfa pepper to taste Saute the brioche, over medium heat, in 11 /2 tbl butter until beginning to brown. Add chopped ramps to the pan. Remove the bread when toasted on all sides. Add the fava beans to the saute with 2 tbl EVOO, and all the herbs. Saute lightly for 1-2 minutes. Place ½ c of ricotta in a bowl, top with brioche croutons, and saute of ramps, favas, herbs. Finish with a squeeze of lemon, EVOO, salt, and pepper. Enjoy.

This one is for my friend @sammyhagar … Tequila Rosemary Fizz with #SantoTequila … a delicious start to the weekenenif you ask me. I’ll be drinking this weekend in Vegas with Sammy at the opening of #SammyIsland at the @palms Tequila Rosemary Fizz Serves 2 6 oz Santo Reposado 2 oz Simple Syrup (1 c sugar dissolved in 1c hot water) 2 sprigs rosemary 2 egg whites Juice of 1 lemon 2 oz Ginger beer Ice Pour the Reposado, rosemary infused simple syrup, egg white, and lemon juice into a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously, pour into two glasses filled with ice. Top each with 1oz of Ginger beer. Enjoy.
