1. I am what I do
for too long I thought that I needed to prove something about who I am through the music or stories that I tell. You are inherently worthy because you are alive. And that is the truth.
2. I have to wait for permission
I’ll wait forever if I’m waiting for the green light
3. There is no room for me at the table

4. I can’t celebrate PRIDE because I don’t look like what’s on the magazine covers
Now more than ever alllllll I want to see are many body sizes, many colors, and many shapes. If you aren’t sharing those images .. I’m bored.
5. The internet is a terrible place.
This one is hard because I have a belief that this is a bad place. But there’s also some really great connections being made and I want to encourage more of that. I’ll use the internet in a way that feels good.
