Didn’t have space to fit this one in the last south edit! So here is the full video of a rad new one that climbs from down and left into hitman. I am calling this one, “The Red Room,” and is somewhere around v11/12 or so?? I’m looking forward to seeing more people get on it and let me know what they think. This is def atypical of the south… straight pulling on small crimps! #bouldering
I came down to Chattanooga back in late March hoping for a few days of good weather before the southern heat really set in. During that short stay, @jgass520 and @wookiepower19 showed me the killing wall which I was completely blown away by. I immediately noticed a line of holds that climbed directly into the tall and committing, “hit man” from down and left. We tried the line a little that warm March evening and I vowed to come back to hopefully put my name on this pristine piece of stone. Fast forward to yesterday, with damn near perfect conditions and the same awesome crew, I managed to make the first ascent of this perfect line which I am calling, “The Red Room,” after the famous short story by HG Wells due to the lines intimidating and scary exit. This has to be one of my better fa’s to date and I’m stoked for more people to get on it! My skin is kinda low and I have to do a board comp on Thursday but I’m hoping to get out tomorrow to sample a little more down here before leaving on Friday! #bouldering
Super fun day in the flatirons yesterday with @marijus3 @jeremy_fullerton and @alexinhabitstalus 🤙 I got shown this incredible looking project and immediately got to work on the rope cleaning it up. Stoked to make the first ascent of, “Maroon,” ~V10/11?? Sketchy one for sure but all time purple rock on this boulder! Go do it 👻 ! #bouldering

Sick newish one in Joe’s, “booster shot,” V11/12 from last week. Sadly I destroyed my tip on day 2 of my trip but that also allowed me to sample a lot more rock than I would have had I just peojected in thing the whole time.
