Ryuichi Sakamoto Instagram – Ryuichi Sakamoto “12” T-shirts
Since Ryuichi Sakamoto’s passing, there has been a high demand for Ryuichi Sakamoto T-shirts from fans around the world.
There is a lot of “pirate/bootleg” merchandise on the internet containing misinformation and copyrighted images. Some staff members close to Sakamoto even purchased unofficial T-shirts, wanting to wear Sakamoto’s photo while simultaneously wondering if they could be illegal products.
In response to the many requests, we have decided to release “12” T-shirt editions, each with one of Sakamoto’s photos from his archives, limited to 120 T-shirts per month throughout the year.
The “RS” logo will be quietly printed near the heart on the inner front side. Ryuichi Sakamoto’s name and the month number will be printed on the inner back side of the T-shirt. The T-shirt will also display a large print of Sakamoto. We hope you enjoy the T-shirts in the spirit of carrying Ryuichi.
Please note before considering your purchase, the position of the inner printings may be shifted due to differences in the unique printing method.
T-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, limited to 120 at commmonsmart on January 28 at 6:00 p.m.(JST)
A portion of the proceeds from the sales of this T-shirt will be donated to “TREES FOR SAKAMOTO”, a platform for tree planting.
坂本龍一「12」 T-shirts
月命日である毎月28日に坂本龍一 「12」T-shirtsを販売します。
坂本龍一が亡くなって以降、世界各地のファンから「教授の写真がプリントされたT-shirtsが欲しい。」とのリクエストが数多く寄せられました。ネットを検索すると画像を無断使用した「海賊版T-shirts」が多く散見されたり・・・。
近しい立場にいるスタッフも「違法かしら？」と思いつつ、「教授のT-shirtsが着たい」とそんなT-shirtsを購入していたケースも。 そのような多くのリクエストにお応えし、毎月アーカイブから選んだ1枚の写真を使用し、12か月連続で年間12種類のTシャツ を発売することにいたしました。
T-shirtsのフロントには心臓の横あたりにひっそりとRSロゴを裏プリント。バックには月のナンバーとRyuichi Sakamotoの名前を裏プリントし 、そこに坂本龍一アーカイブより選りすぐりの教授画像1枚が大きく上部にプリントされています。 「坂本龍一を背負う」ということで着用いただけたら幸いです。
1月28日18時より、commmonsmartにて120枚限定で先着販売です。
