I’ve always felt the idea of the collective consciousness to be true and have wanted to articulate it simply, in my own way. The belief that, although we all have our individuality, we’re all connected deep down, and, I guess, my hope is that, that connection keeps rising closer to the surface and we can truely ‘see’, ‘love’ and ‘respect’ each other, because we are one another … woke up early the other morning and this kinda just came to me, so I recorded it straight away … ‘Do you ever wonder If we’re one soul with many faces? Taking many different paths, From many different places. All around the world, We take on all forms, sex (genders*) and races, But we’re part of this soul, And that’s what makes us Human.’
